War against Law of War: The Conflict in Gaza in View of International Humanitarian Law

Abstract

This article tries to explain the rules of International Humanitarian Law that apply to the conflict in Gaza. International Humanitarian Law, includes rules protecting civilians and regulating the means and methods of warfare. International criminal law rules about investigating the past violations and prosecutes the suspected perpetrators of the Zionist Regime's forces. Several human rights bodies reported that Israeli forces have been using white phosphorous and other munitions and weapons in an unlawful manner in Gaze which leads to criminal prosecution of perpetrators. It is now acceptable that international community including UN and all states have obligations against impunity and reparation of victims in recent conflict in Gaza.
